It was about time, so I finally did it. I’m not 100% finished, but I’ve given modayode.com a major overhaul that includes a new logo and site icon, new blog design, new biography page (renamed “Connect” because it has big social buttons), and most importantly a new front page with the pre-order links for Serotonin Overload front and … ok, not center. Shut up, you.

Toward the bottom I feel like it gets a little busy, and I’m still trying to arrange the elements in a less cluttered way (the author photo/logo/text right under the Serotonin Overload links). Like I said, not 100% finished.

In case you’ve missed everything I’ve said on the subject: Serotonin Overload is my new standalone novel set in the same universe as The Voidstrider Saga (but 50ish years earlier). It’s a cyberpunk crime thriller and my alpha reader says it’s my best book yet.

Angsty, bi female lead who thinks she’s got the world sussed out (but really does not, like, at all) and her sometimes overexplaining but sometimes brooding ally slash boss slash romantic interest, plus bots taking our jobs, a fast food joint that sells cloned rich people meat (called Eat the Rich because capitalism sees your “fuck capitalism” and raises you “we own you, bitch, now eat your gruel”), the obligatory cool motorbike and Japanese guy with a katana and a host of other classic cyberpunk tropes (“I’m in!”), and a pulse-pounding CLONE HEIST. You read that right.
