It’s Election Day. A few minutes past noon where I am. Feels like seconds to midnight. Feels like time isn’t moving at all.
We knew it was going to be a stressful day, so Sydney and I decided to get the hell out of town. We cast our ballots early and took a few days off, booked a cabin in the absolute middle of nowhere. And here we are. Far and away from the things of Man.

The sky here is very dark at night. Indeed, the darkest skies anywhere in Tennessee. After building a fire in the outdoor pit and cooking up dinner, I toyed with one of my telescopes (I only brought one along on this trip).
Got some incredible images. Just really damn stunning. The difference is mind boggling. I’ll be sharing some images soon. Assuming we still have a functioning society, at least.
Good luck out there. Take care of yourself today. Whatever that looks like for you.
